I work with couples in all stages of their relationship and am highly committed to this work. Whether you are caught in cycles of conflict, healing from a rupture, or simply wanting to deepen your intimacy, my approach to couples therapy is active, direct, and deeply engaged.
In our sessions, I draw from a wide range of specific teachers and methods that have shaped my practice. This includes the direct, truth-telling approach of Terrence Real’s Relational Life Therapy (RLT), the practical tools of the Gottman Method, and the attachment focus of Sue Johnson’s Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I also weave in Imago therapy, alongside the work of Elizabeth Èowyn Nelson and Anthony Delmedico, who model how to integrate depth psychology into couples counseling.
Our work together is an opportunity to honestly uncover and get to know your present dynamic and identify the areas that need tending. My role is to be an engaged and supportive presence, helping you and your partner/partners make choices based on a clear understanding of your relationship.
